The VX-600 is the most synthy small vintage synth of all the unhyped synths. I haven't had goosebumps in months of playing up to now. I converted my VX600 from exponential to linear FM. For each voice card I desoldered R3 and soldered a 0.1uF cap from the upper pin to a 150k 1% resistor. The VX600 has a nice warm vintage analog sound that has often been compared to the Oberheim Xpander. Not many VX600s were produced, making this a pretty rare
